The Jewish Independent invites all young artists to participate in this year’s HANUKKAH COVER ART CONTEST – deadline for submissions is Nov. 18!
Get your cameras, crayons and/or paint brushes out for a chance to have your artwork as the cover of the JI’s 2026 Hanukkah issue.
• Open to artists up to Grade 7 or 13 years of age.
• Your creation should be about 8″ x 11″ (vertical).
• When designing your artwork, please remember that the Jewish Independent logo will run across the top of the page.
• Include your name, age, phone number, grade and name of school on a separate piece of paper along with your entry.
Email your scanned artwork in a high-resolution JPEG or PDF file to production@jewishindependent.ca.
Deadline for submissions: Friday, Nov. 18, 2026. This year’s Hanukkah publication date is Nov. 27.
