Helping fire evacuees

As wildfires continue to force families from their homes across the Okanagan, Chabad Okanagan, led by Rabbi Shmuly and Fraidy Hecht, has turned into a helpline. Chabad Okanagan volunteers are connecting evacuees with host families, baking and delivering fresh bread daily, and getting essentials –  food, toiletries, blankets, even pet supplies – directly into the hands of people who’ve lost everything. Because every act of kindness lifts a life.
