{"id":44811,"date":"2024-07-26T01:50:21","date_gmt":"2024-07-26T08:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jewishindependent.ca\/?p=44811"},"modified":"2024-07-25T18:26:48","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T01:26:48","slug":"jacs-and-jfs-integrate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jewishindependent.ca\/index.php\/2024\/07\/26\/jacs-and-jfs-integrate\/","title":{"rendered":"JACS and JFS integrate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jewish Addiction Community Services (JACS) and Jewish Family Services (JFS) have accepted bylaw changes allowing for service integration, in order to expand addiction support and services within the<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Jewish community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJACS and JFS have a long history of collaboration in serving our community, and it just made good sense to form an even tighter relationship that leverages the relative strengths of each organization,\u201d said Howard Harowitz, JACS board chair. \u201cThis move is driven by a shared commitment to improving service delivery, integrating substance use services with other supports, and utilizing the established expertise of both agencies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The strategic rationale behind this integration is clear: combining resources will enhance service effectiveness and accessibility, ultimately creating a more significant impact.
