At its Jan. 22 meeting, Mission city councilors voted on a motion moved by Mayor Paul Horn: \u201cThat the City of Mission Council endorses Canada\u2019s Antiracism Strategy and refers the strategy to the newly formed Accessibility, Inclusion and Diversity Committee as a tool in their work.\u201d The motion passed unanimously. Canada\u2019s Antiracism Strategy uses the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance \u201cWorking Definition of Antisemitism,\u201d which defines antisemitism as \u201ca certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews.
